1.at表示“黎明、午、夜、點與分”。

4.in，for

（1）“in+時間名詞”意為“在……時候”；“in+段時間”意為“……時間之后”。

（2）“for+段時間”意為“有多久”。

We worked there for the winter.我們在那里工作了一個冬季。

I walked up and down my bedroom for a long time.

5.since，after

（1）since表示的時間一直延續到說話時為止，要與現在完成時連用。

He has been there twice since 1982.自1982年以來我去過那里兩次。

I have done nothing since six o’clock.六點鐘之后，我什么也沒做。

（2）after表示的時間是過去，常和一般過去時連用。

He went home after school.放學后，他回了家。

6.till/until，to

（1）till/until 常用于“from ...till/until”中，表示“一個動作的終結”；to 常用于“from ...to”中，表示“一個階段的終結”。

He studies from morning till/until night every day.他每天從早到晚地學習。

They stayed here from June to September.他們在這里從六月待到九月。

（2）延續性動詞用于till/until的肯定句中，短暫性動詞用于“not ...until”中。

I slept till/until ten o’clock.我睡到十點。

I didn’t go to bed till/until ten o’clock.直到十點我才睡覺。

7.by，before

（1）by意為“到……以前”、“不遲于”、“到……時（為止）”。

I will finish my task by nine.我將在九點鐘前完成任務。

The plane takes off at 10：00，so you must try to be at the airport by 9：30.

（2）before意為“在……以前”。

The students won’t go home before they finish their homework.
