pushing the stroller along the path, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. The vibrant trees and the soft breeze made me feel young and carefree.
I paused to smell one of the wildflowers, its sweet fragrance filling the air.媽媽突然停下腳步,指著路邊的一叢小花問我:“知道這是什么嗎?” I squatted to look closer, and indeed, it was a tiny sunflower. “It’s a sunflower!” I gasped, not knowing how to respond. Mom smiled, placing a gentle hand on my shoulder. “It’s a beautiful flower, just like you. Simple and pure.”
As we walked further, the path gradually became narrower, and the trees on either side became taller. The shadow of the trees stretched endlessly along the path, creating a surreal feeling of being far away from home. Sometimes I looked back, but there was nothing to see. Mom kept walking, holding my hand tightly. I tried to look for familiar landmarks, but nothing came to mind. I felt a strange sense of loneliness, yet I didn’t want to look away from the beautiful scenery around me.
突然, we heard a熟悉的聲音 from behind. Mom turned around, and there were two of my classmates, chatting with a group of friends. They waved at us cheerfully, and I couldn’t help but smile. But just as I turned to say hello, Mom stopped me. “We have to go sooner or later. I’ve been waiting for you all day. Don’t miss your bus.” She held my hand tighter, and I felt tears well up in my eyes. Mom’s words were like a blow to my heart, but she just said, “Take care of yourself, my dear.”
The rest of the walk was quiet. The sunny day passed quickly, and we finally reached the end of the path. The sun was setting, casting a golden hue over the landscape. I looked back at the park, filled with the scent of flowers and the faint sound of birdsong. I couldn’t help but feel a bit sad. These moments together were so precious, but they would soon disappear like the fleeting beauty of spring.
As we walked away, I felt a strange mix of emotions: a sense of loss for the beautiful day I had shared with mom, and a desire to hold onto these moments forever. Mom never said good-bye, just a single word that carried so much meaning. “Take care of yourself, my dear.” Her words echoes in my heart like a melody that I can’t forget.
In that moment, I realized that life is like a beautiful journey, full of interesting sights and experiences. While we may want to hold onto every memory, each chapter has its time. The road ahead may be long, but I know that I will continue to walk, step by step, just like those little baby steps in the park today.
The walk home was quiet, the wind blowing through the trees, and the memory of that sunny day in the park stayed with me forever. It reminds me that life is beautiful, and every moment is worth cherishing. Those moments, big or small, are the stories we weave as we grow older.
